Hello and welcome, CS!  That's a great moustache you have at 4 weeks!  Keep growing it out and training it to the sides, as you appear to have been doing.  Your cheeks are a bit patchy, but they're not too bad.  We've had other men with similar cheeks go on to grow beards that they're happy with.  Please have a look at the Patchy Beards Before and After thread - there's a link to it in my signature.  The basic solution to patchiness like that is increasing length. The longer hair will help to cover the area.  You'll also have additional hairs sprouting as time goes by, as some of your hair follicles will have been resting when you started growing your beard.

It's normal for new beard growers to experience some self-doubt.  You do have the potential to grow a nice beard, but you have to be patient and stick with the plan for at least 3 months, maybe a little longer.  You may get a few negative comments from time to time - please don't let them get to you.  You're doing fine, just keep growing.
