Welcome to the board! Okay ... first, you have a good looking beard growing on you. Also, you have styled it well. Yes, another 6 months will do very well for you. On the interview, it will depend on what you are planning on doing. Look to see if there is a beard policy. Also, you can have the long beard and you can talk about it in the interview to see if it is a problem. If it is, then tell them you can trim it back. If you are not serious and want a longer beard, then that's what I'd do. You could always also try to conceal it, tie it, tuck it, use a bit of hair spray ... that has worked for me. Or, if you really want to shorten it, then just take a bit off the length and let the rest grow out. I would not go back to a 2-3 week beard, I'd so something like a 4 month beard. The beard does not seem unprofessional to me. Dress the part. They are not looking at you for the beard, they will be looking at your personality and your skillset.

It depends on you. It looks good in the picture that you last posted. But, if you really want the job and you are worried about it, shorten it a bit. If you don't get it, then grow it out.

I think the beard suits you. Let us know what you do ... and ... if you come back on your next post ... if you didn't trim, let me know how long it is - measure from the bottom of your lower lip to the end without stretching it ... I'm thinking you need to be in Short Established or Long Beards ... let me know and welcome!
