I fully expect my wife to accept my beard.

I fully expect her to remain hairless from the neck down.

I fully embrace double standards when I can.

I'm not for one second going to delude myself (lie) by saying she can have it her way and I don't care. Has it not been brought up many times that hirsuteness is a uniquely masculine trait? Isn't that part of the awesomeness of these beards we have? Isn't a hairy man seen as "more manly" than a bare skin one? I'm married to a woman whose feminine looks and traits are just what I want. Were I a single man, a woman with hairy legs, armpits, and a uni-brow sitting at a bar would not entice me.

Currently trying to break the trimming habit.
