Today I was at a local middle school as a guest speaker in seven classes taught by a close friend. In the morning, one young man asked me to put on the white-trimmed red hat he had brought to school this morning. "I found SANTA," he exclaimed to the nearby gathering of other boys. He then offered to give me the hat, which I declined. As you might imagine, that was just the beginning. It was great fun throughout the day. I hoped they learned at least something about what I really came to talk about.
