Another question. One thing that has always kept me shaving was my moustache curling into my mouth and just generally getting in the way when eating and such. I have found that parting it and sometimes sporting the handlebar curl really helps with this. However, I sometimes like my moustache down. I am wondering what other's thoughts/ideas are regarding this.

Many of us find that after a point the mustache is long enough that it stays out of the way pretty well but it takes while.  For me it was about 5 months of growth.  Now I rarely do anything but comb my mustache into the rest of my beard and it stays there all day.  Also, it's long enough that when I drink something the mustache is lifted out of the way by the edge of the glass or cup smiley: happy.

So, just hang in there!
