From your post, I'm assuming the age bracket with the following. If I'm wrong then never mind....

While I can agree with much of what's been said, I think the biggest hurdle isn't the beard, but the age of the girls involved. Probably the reason that in the last 25 years, the age of the women I've dated or married is 6-15 years my senior. Don't like girls. I like a woman who truly knows what she wants. College age girls are living in a world that will look completely different to them in a 10 years. Maybe even less. Either conform to age appropriate social standards or find a real woman. Girls only know what their girlfriends tell them, women know what they like. But, that's not always age dependent either.

Now, if you're just looking for a piece of tail here and there, then you may just have to keep a short beard and conform. Sometimes you just have to play by the "rules" to get what you want.

Important:  Some woman truly don't like beards.  I don't like their hairy underarms or legs.  Fair is fair.
