I was feeling pretty good about it until last week when I got a little grief from a coworker at the end of a video conference. He ended the call with "Time to shave, Andrew." And then my boss was comparing me to a terrorist. Got me a little down for a few days.

Well, I won't lie.  Before I had a beard and learned about what's involved with it and the type of men who have them (always exceptions, of course), I looked at them completely different too.  Even made the terrorist comment before, though never to anyone's face.  The beard world is very different to the bearded compared to the clean shaven.  Unfortunately, the only way for anyone to know that is to have at least had a larger than average beard at some point in their lives.

I have to say that your beard is not one that immediately calls up derogatory comments, though.  Actually looks nice and classy.  But...I have a beard too, so you can't really listen to me since I'm biased now.

Currently trying to break the trimming habit.
