Razorslave,
Thanks. Now as to who has the better beard...not really an issue especially since I'm now the only one of us still bearded. lol.

Tom & Tribeard,
Much appreciated. The location definitely made the pics more memorable. A couple of interesting things about my dad's colouration. His original colour had more red than mine where I have more blond highlights. He also went prematurely grey; the first time he grew his beard in his mid 40s, it was mostly grey. I don't know how fast I will grey; my grandfather (pictured above) had dark hair well into his 70's and really only went salt and pepper in the last years of his life.

Beard69,
Thank you. When your son is a little older, you may still be able to do a father/son beard pic yet - definitely something to look forward to.

Rob,
My dad grew his beard out specifically because I talked to him about doing a father/son beard pic. Maybe yours would do the same. In any case, I'm glad you decided to grow your own beard out. You have a top notch beard that suits you well. Perhaps, you will keep it permanently? Good luck with any future father/son beard pics. I'm glad that the trimming tips were helpful to, and thanks for the compliment on my dad's beard.
