Yes... part of the challenge is to get through initial perceptions and avoid coming to conclusions before all the evidence is in. Your beard is in good development atm and you will see a difference as new hairs join in.... but since new hairs come in sporadically, the real challenge is to develop the patience to let it come instead of expecting completeness too soon.
Back in my youth, I had similar coverage to Varg's but was not encouraged by anyone to grow a beard so I stuck with the solo stache until just two years ago. Now, after growing out the fullbeard, guess what? I have Varg's coverage once again.... and it's not so bad, is it... and I can only wonder what it would have been like all those years to have a beard. You have the advantage of getting opinions and looking at the journey of others so that you can make a more informed decision and possibly stick with a beard throughout most of your adult life. You are getting close to concluding that you will not have the perfect beard now but you will have a beard you can be proud to sport. Now, back to Cosmos... do you think he was hinting with those shots of Varg not only that you have lots of potential ahead of you but also that perhaps I blew it by waiting so long? I'm not embarrased at all, but don't make the same mistake as me when you see you have enough potential now.
