hello kind people! recently i've taken to caring for my beard the way it deserves. below, i've provided a small review on my first ever beard oil!

Dr K's 100% Natural Handmade Bear Tonic

when i was looking over the internet, i'd come across this oil but at no point could i tell what the scent was going to be like, i took the plunge and i have been both pleasantly surprise and a little bit disappointed.

the main scent is peppermint and it is incredibly obvious as soon as you open the bottle. it also has subtle hints of rosemary and lavender. those combined provide a very fresh but slightly musky smell (most certainly not a bad thing).

as previously mentioned, i've only been using it for a week, but already i'm noticing a difference between how my beard was and how it is now. For example, i no longer have my upper lip hairs creeping in to my mouth, they're firmly positioned out of the way where they can't become part of my diet.

I've also noticed that my hair has gotten just a little bit softer and is more manageable than it once was. It does exactly what it's meant to, so for that reason i'm happy.

on the down-side, my partner has informed me that she's not a big fan of the scent, mainly the peppermint and claims i smell like "olbas oil" or "vicks' vapo rub." i'm sure this is something she'll get used to, but it's a bit of an annoyance knowing that i spent my hard earned cash on something that makes me smell like a walking common cold.
