Wow, I'm sure this feeling has been expressed millions of times before, but sometimes I still can't wrap my head round how supportive everyone on this board is… might be the only troll-free place on the interwebs?

bhster, ChefChris and Kplandes, thanks for the encouragement and the advice… and if you ever feel like using that comeback, just add that you got it from an obscure Italian philosopher for additional gravitas points

Razorslave congrats you too for quitting and holding it up… I'm looking into the vaping thing as well, right now I'm basically toughing it out while taking some NRT to get over the worst times, but it looks like vaping may be better and more cost-effective in the long run… my flatmate's done the same as you and she swears by it.

Natemic, that's funny - when I started out I saw it the same way as you, then the weak side seemed to become the stronger and vice versa… maybe they'll flip over again a few times by the three month mark! But thanks for pointing it out, makes for a good exercise in chilling the heck out and not looking at it too closely.

To BourbonNCigars, I believe it's the first time anyone ever told me I have a strong jaw line, honest - if anything I've always considered myself one of the chinless tribe. That made my day

ScarfFace you're right, looks like whatever I used to spend on cigs is now getting steadily diverted to various Amazon outlets… still going easy on the oil front, but I'm building quite a collection of combs (probably wouldn't need so many if I didn't keep losing them, but there you go).

Almost missed your reply Brodine, thanks! That pic cracks me up too and I'm afraid the day's coming when I might start using that catchphrase in real life after all with a beard like Riker's, one needs an equally impressive ego to back it up.
