I believe that it's true. If you look at my thread I'm 16 and I have a lot of beard for my age. I weight train 5 times. You can really get some extra testosterone going when you heavy squat and deadlift. In general when you do compound movements (a movement that almost hits every muscle)

It might be a myth, but my mum always told me that in Winter hair in general grows a lot slower than in Summer and I actually noticed it. I noticed it from my chest hair tough not from my beard.
