I posted a brief review of it on my tumblr page - just a warning my tumblr is NSFW - I'm 29 and single...not a saint.

Beard balm - which is a kind of leave in conditioner for beard hair that has the additional benefit of being able to tame wayward beard hairs. I usually use unscented jojoba oil, but in the Australian summer heat and the longer my beard has been getting - this is no longer enough to stop my beard from becoming rather dry and scratchy.Beard balm is designed to have a bit more staying power than the standard oils. And after washing my beard and applying it I have noticed by beard hairs are staying in place better than before. The big concern for me was the scent, today I have had a slight hangover from last night and my head and sinuses were a bit stuffy. The eucalyptus in this stuff fixed that *!+# up.

Having grown up on a farm I have been around sheep so I know what lanolin smells like. This Beard Balm has a distinct scent of lanolin. My blink impression of it was that it smelt like someone dunked mildly scoured wool from a merino hogget in eucalyptus and lightly spritzed it with lemon oil.The scent is far from overpowering, The hint of lemon takes the notoriously sharp edge off the eucalyptus oil.

I get really bad headaches around strong scents and with my strong sense of smell it doesn’t take much to provoke them.At work today, I did the all important test on co-workers. Most of them couldn’t really smell it unless I was less than a foot away from them, I gave a co-worker a hug today and she noticed the eucalyptus smell, she didn’t find it disagreeable and she loved how soft my beard was. As the day wore on the eucalyptus scent started to mellow out, but the scent of lemon lingered.I’d say this stuff is a keeper, and I’m confident It will withstand the sea water better than the oils I previously used.
