Thank you Leopard for you kind words, would you advise carving my neck line a tad lower? Also, not too sure if this is generally the case, but my beard looks a little thin in those photos. I seems to look a tad thicker when i'm not under some artificial light. I've also noticed that my sides have been laying flat for once too. When i've not shaved previously, they tend to spring out in every direction so i guess brushing really does work

You could carve the neckline a bit lower but it looks fine now, I'm just talking about after a couple of months when the beard has a bit of length and starts to cover the neckline you can start to lower it as noone will see it anyways and then eventually stop carving the neckline all together. Artificial light usually shines right through beards and make them look thinner, you might want to try taking some pictures outside in natural light. The hair tends to lay a lot flatter when it gains length and the weight of the hair kinda pulls it down and brushing really does help with that process. I'm looking forward to your next update!
