I don't believe there is any difference between a beard wax and a moustache wax. You could use it in your head hair. I think it's just a difference term to make it sound a bit better or keep the name more succinct.

I was referring to the Simply Vanilla beard oil seen here: http://thebeardedbastard.com/products/simply-vanilla-beard-oil.

Seeing as how it has already sold out, I will probably opt for Beardbrand's tea tree. Based on your review of it, it may be just what I'm looking for!

Also, thanks for the info on beard v. moustache wax. I figured that they were different types of products. I suppose my question now is which of the waxes that you've used are the LEAST "tacky"? I know that in my experience, OWH is pretty mild in comparison to Simply Vanilla wax, but I think I'd want something that's even a thinner consistency than the OWH for my beard... Something that I won't have to scrape out with my fingernails to use. I thought that the Honest Amish stuff might do the trick.

If you're looking for a quality oil, the Woodsman is a great choice imo. I couldn't comment on the other you mentioned. As far as a "lighter" wax, the lightest I've used was Clubman. But it's a small tube that would probably be used up quickly. It did virtually nothing for hold on MY hair. You could try a beard balm (i use Spiffy Stuff) for a mild hold with very ease of applying.. And conditioning. And it won't require using your fingernail. Smells great too! .
