It sounds like you are going to use it one way or another so I will just add this:

Don't use it for a long time. A year might be ok but I would not push it beyond that because of the potential of side effects.

I have skin problems that I am told, may be due to using this stuff, though I am not sure

Only use it during the day, not at night as it can rub into your pillow and then get adsorbed else where as you toss and turn.

Because of an old back injury, I sleep mostly on my right side and that is where I have skin problems. Could be a coincidence but I have stopped using it to find out for sure.

If you notice your face looks puffy or you start seeing wrinkles or the like, stop using it ASAP
