I know my national parks. I'm fairly sure Humboldt-Toiyabe is one of the biggest in the United States. You could lose yourself for a month of Sundays just crossing it, I've read.

Awww, and then you went and blew it. H-T is a National Forest, not a National Park. The first are administered by the US Dept of Agriculture and the latter by the US Dept of Interior. They often have very different (and sometimes competing) mandate$, goal$, and expectation$ for the land and it's uses.

But come and enjoy them both.

At nearly 23,000 square kilometers, Humboldt-Toyabe NF is the largest outside Alaska, but it is divided up into ten non-contiguous districts across Nevada and California.

A beard will naturally enhance your enjoyment of these great outdoors. (Have to keep this relevant.)
