After using the Woodsman wax for a while (really like it) I wanted to try and source something a little coser to this side of the atlantic (shipping and tax). I found that for wearing my moustache in a rather natural sweep using a little very strong wax works better for me than using a lot of weaker wax and so I decided to try the "Capt´n Fawcetts Expedition strength Moustache wax".

The first surprise came with opening the envelope, there was a complimentary cotton bag, a handwritten postcard addressed to me personally, a button, another card, etc.. Even the envelope itself had a nice moustache-shaped stamp on it. Talk about attention to detail.

The wax itself comes in a little solid metal screw-down container, which easily fits into a pocket. It smells pleasently of sandalwood, noticable, yet not overpowering.
You either need some force to scrape it out of the tin, or need to give it a quick blast with the hairdryer. After rolling it between my fingers a little, it was quite easy to work into my moustache and the tiniest bit held it exactly where I wanted it to be. I am typing this 8 hours and a few meals and cups of coffee later and despite running around in windy weather all day,  there is no droopage at all, the moustache is sitting right where it is supposed to be without looking to slick or overstyled.
I am really happy with the whole thing and think I have found my new standard moustache wax, the only potential downside I can see is the rather steep price, but as just a little wax will last a rather long time I think it´s well worth the money.
