Jasjes - If you can find the above quote anywhere in what I said I will jump out the basement window!!!

Keith, Please don't jump out of the basement window... you may hurt yourself.smiley: laugh  My statement is a little misleading and I apologize.

What I find amusing is when a statement or proposition is made and everyone seems to jump on the bandwagon as if everyone has to take the same opinion. I've seen this on a wide variety of topics.  Of course, I understand you're not forcing your ideas on anyone else... it's just your observation of your own results, it works for you and that's fine.

I only stated that my maintenance program works fine for me. I shampoo/condition my beard every Sunday before church and it feels good and looks a little better on that day than during the week. I have cut back a little on other maintenance during the week as I said. I have learned how to wipe coffee and wine, remove food particles as I eat and generally look presentable using many of the techniques we see on threads here. But I don't wash my beard until the next morning and there are bound to be leftover odors and what not in the hair until then. I have also noticed some coloring of the stache tips that hang over the lip and I believe this may be caused by coffee which, in white hair is noticeable.

Skin conditions vary from one person to another... oiliness, dryness, itchiness, young flexible hair vs. gray brittle hair, etc... and the maintenance program that we use should match those conditions for best results. That's why, IMO, one solution may not fit all but it does work for lots of guys with those same conditions.
