Jasjes - If you can find the above quote anywhere in what I said I will jump out the basement window!!!
All I stated is what worked for Keith and quoted RedCastle verbatim.  Even included a link to his thread.

I cannot say how it would have worked with my short hair and beard.  There is only one way to know and
I will pass on that option.

As far as food with proper techniques and fork usage I have very few incidents.  When I do slip up I just
wipe off as I go.  When done I rinse off in the bathroom.  It is really no big deal.  Here is something from
Olybeards thread post 326.

"Eating is not an issue for me. I find it very easy to manipulate my food, forks, and spoons to allow me be
to be a very neat eater without getting good on the mustache or the mustache into my mouth."

Zero complaints at home on touch, feel or softness of the beard, no smells either.

For most of my life I just used soap on my head and face.  After reading stuff here I got into the sulfate
free shampoo/conditioner.  That did seem somewhat better than Ivory soap.  I asked Patrick what he does
then the RedCastle thread appeared and here I am.  I was skeptical at first (on the hair only), I figured why
not.  If it does not work, I still have the shampoo and conditioner.

I know this is not for everyone, or should I say hardly anyone.  In my truck driving days water only would
not work on diesel fuel, oil, grease or any other junk I got into.

Like anything the information is out there.  If a man wants to act on it or has questions I will answer them.
If not they can continue on their current course.

Would you try something like this for a week or so to see how you did?  It might be an interesting experiment.
How long have you been doing your current regimen?

Keith
