For the ever lowering stache line edge, use sharp, small pointed scissors. Just keep the stache hairs at the same line as they all gradually lower and reach that lower lip line. Therefore your lowest stache hairs will start needing trimming much earlier than the upper ones. I will insert one of my pics here when I had a short beard for illustration. I kept the beard trimmed (with a trimmer) at about a 7 week length, but it took weeks longer for all of the upper stache hairs to finally meet the lip line that I trimmed with the scissors, as it did in this pic. It really made the stache nice and bulky looking from the front and the sides. Also at this constant length, it still remained largely out of food and drink so still manageable. I trimmed the stache line about once a week once it was "mature." I only used scissors on this, whereas I still used my beard trimmer on the rest of the beard to maintain my desired length. I hope that you are getting what I mean here. So here is the pic:

Closeup Angle Beard

I have thin lips, so by having my stache at the lower edge of the upper lip, with my mouth closed it looked like my lips were hidden. I was a fast grower, very similar to you with my beard looking like yours at 3 weeks in, so what you see in my 7 week above pic is how your beard will look in about 4 more weeks, other than the stache not being "mature" yet.

I hope all of this explains about the stache. Now of course if you plan to grow on past 2 months and grow a much bigger beard, then let the stache keep growing and start training it to the sides. kplandes, smedstad and Schnauzer can then help you with big styled stache growing advice if you want a big styled stache with your enlarging beard.
