Welcome! You have a nice young beard with great coverage. There are some guys who grow beards and then decide several months later to shave to a mustache look. I have also seen the reverse where a guy starts a beard along with already having a mature stache. Staches can really carry a beard. If anything, I suggest to you to never shave off your stache if you are looking for it to develop. If your goal is a handlebar, then you have to really think longterm. Like 6 months and beyond minimally. You want to avoid trimming it and train it to the sides by combing it. Then at some point you can shape it with wax, hairglue or hairspray. Those are topics for another day and there are lots of stache experts here that can help you with your goal. So for now, I would let the stache grow and don't touch it. Any plans on the beard? Why not grow it to a certain length and just maintain instead of shaving it. Shaving is a lot of work and is expensive. My preference is to avoid razors. Glad you are with us and keep us updated.

Best,

Erik
