My bad SB, I totally missed your last post (which was right above mine, dohh!)

Is the length disparity due to length of hairs or the way they are laying?  If they truly are growing a bit longer than the rest, there is no harm in giving them a quick snip with some scissors to keep them more even.  There are many people who will tell you just let everything go for the big untouched beard.  I can definitely see their point and agree to an extent.  I myself need to keep a couple of things trimmed/edged up a bit while I grow out my beard (neckline slowly lowered,high cheek hairs, and hairs that connect my beard to the back of my neck).  It's up to you and how you feel about the process and what your end goal is.  Just be sure to keep us posted!
