It takes some practice to learn how to wax your moustache. When I first started, I could easily use 15 minutes or more trying to get it right. Now, I can do it in less than 5 minutes. Using a hair dryer as you apply the wax could help. I use a sort of pinch-and-drag technique and then run the comb through when I am satisfied with the shape, just to give my moustache a more natural look. I am into a flowing moustache rather than a tight moustache, myself. There is lots of information about wax available on the Handlebar Club Forum. I suggest you take a look
