Well, I have officially made it to three months (my original goal).  I scissor trimmed my jawline up a little last week to give my beard more of a structured/symmetrical look (I have a cowlick under my chin that pushes everything to the right side of my jaw).  I am not entirely pleased with the balance right now but overall I am still pleased with the beard.  And my cheeks, which are my greatest concern, are slowly filling in... I think?

For all you newer guys, I can tell you that each month goes by faster.  My first month felt like an itchy eternity... my second month didn't seem quite as bad but still slow.... however my third month literally felt like one week!  Also, 10 weeks into my beard growth I had a very important interview for my dream job.  I felt a little self-conscious going into the interview with a half grown out beard.... Well, to make a long story short, I GOT THE JOB!

Moving forward, I am trying to decide what my next goal is.  As of right now, I LIKE the beard, and I think with some more time, the cheeks will fill in more and I will LOVE it.  I have made the decision to stop trimming my mustache.  I started trimming it because it is the fastest growing part on my face.  I think the beard has reached a point where the mustache can go wild and free.  Alright, enough talking, here is the GIF:
