You're in luck in one sense - you'll find that it is a million times easier to grow a beard the second time around now that people who made a fuss about it the first time are now used to it. It's a quirk of human behavior to reject any change in the short term. Coworkers might not even make a peep when you rock up with stubble on your path to a decent beard.

It looks like your coverage is way better than mine, so I have full confidence you'll smash this out of the park. Stick with it, follow AmericanEuroMutt's suggestion and only take photos weekly (so there isn't any obsession), and remember that you are always your own worst critic.

I still worry about patchiness in my beard... but I also now recognise that it's only something that I notice. Other people don't pay nearly as much attention to the closeup of other peoples faces - they just see a bearded dude!

So relax, chill out, and enjoy the journey. It's a fascinating study of human behaviour watching how peoples attitudes and actions change as you get bearded. Enjoy the ride
