Mike, your beard just keeps getting better. Don't give up on your cheeks yet. My cheeks were way less even and dense than yours, and it's all caught up. It takes about 3 months for everything to really fill out, maybe 4 since you're younger, though you have a pretty well developed beard.

You might be washing your face too often, or at least your beard, and that could be causing irritation. I wash my face, and let whatever soap runs down run out. I saturate my beard daily, but only actually lather it up about once a week or 10 days. After I shampoo, I use a mild leave-in conditioner for a few days to get all the natural moisture levels up, which keeps the hair soft and the skin happy. Work days I use a little bit of American Crew Fiber, which seems to firm things up a bit, and also conditions the skin and hair. You'll figure out what works best for you, but jojoba oil ought to help, and tea tree oil is always good for irritated skin.
