I'll jump in and say I'm using JFM. My beard hair went premature white in my young 30s. Trick is to go lighter than you think you should and keep it on no more than 5 minutes. What looks bad and unnatural is going too dark. So start conservative in terms of color and time kept in, and build from there. Guys on this board use everything from biotin to copper peptide to jojoba oil or leave-in conditioner to have their beards just how they like them. No difference for JFM, it's just another thing. Since you've had an allergic response to it, you might check with a barber to see if there are professional treatments, if it is important for you to try. Whatever you do, just remember it's your beard, so don't put too much weight on the opinions or advice of others, including mine. It's your beard, so it's up to you.
