The beard genes that run in your family are starting to kick in now for you.
I see lots of younger hairs that will be joining your coverage in the next month or two. This will give you a nice looking young man's full beard if you can let it grow out. Don't be afraid to commit to growing everything for 3-4 months at this point... your beard is ready to show.
As to the neckline, it looks better but if I was in your shoes, I would bring it up a bit more. The centerpoint could come up another 1/2 finger width and the end points more than that. Looking at it from the side views, draw a line from the new centerpoint to a point on the jaw just under the ear. That would look a lot neater.
Keep these updates coming and say how you feel about progress on each of them. We still don't know how old you are... presumably your brothers are older than you and can tell you how your beard development compares to theirs.

You never make a decision about keeping a beard after just 1 week growing. In fact, you have a really good start for just 1 week and have a very good chance of having a decent young man's full beard after 3 months growing. Of course, if you can't stand the look of your beard coming in, you could wait a few years but then you will not have the experience of being bearded
in your teen years.
My recommendation is to lower your expectations and commit to growing for 3 months. As you grow, focus on the positive results rather than coverage you wish you had. I think you are more than ready to become bearded, but that is for you to decide, not me.
