That beast of a beard is past due for beard acceptance. The way you are caring for and showing your beard is proof that you are sporting nearly adult coverage and the way it is filling in at this point means that it will be very solid and bulked at 3 months. All you need to do to close the deal is to tell us that you have accepted your beardedness and that it has become a part of who you are. It may be very hard to part with if you go into the army.
I like the horizontal stache... it will get a lot more length and then you can do more it. Keep up the good work and keep us informed of your thoughts and progress.

Your beard looks sick from a distance. This much sun on a beard only 6 weeks growing usually shows skin behind the beard but your beard is very solid and covering exceptionally well. Congratulations on accepting your beardedness... another milestone in your journey to become a man.
obvious that your beard is giving you a much older and mature look. It's probably the #1 reason teens prefer to be bearded because it gives the look of a young man in his 20's. In another 2-3 months, your beard is going to take on bulk and length. That change ages you even more.
I like how you are finding out your beard possibilities before going into the army so that when the time comes to request to grow your beard, you will have a picture of the style and look you will achieve on that next journey. Just keep in mind that between now and then, your front is going to fill in more... perhaps even to the point of covering most skin below the lip.
Keep your updates coming every couple weeks and let us know where you are taking this beard and how you feel about it.

Hey fella, you come over as one cool dude with that slick looking beard adding a nice bit of street cred. Great backdrop with the sunshine out in force!

Well, I didn't read where you had actually accepted your beardedness, but you should because your beard looks absolutely magnificant and full. In fact, not only do you have great coverage, but you also look very handsome and mature in that last picture. If I was you, I would crop the picture square showing just the head and post it as my avatar. It's really sick.
Now to what's next... Spade beard? or short, intentional as you have it? You have the coverage for both and of course, the more beard length you have, the older you will look. To grow the Spade, let the goatee grow full and keep the undercarriage tapered from long in the front to short at the neck. A barber can help with this. To get started, let the goatee grow and start to comb it underneath toward the front just to see what it looks like longer.
I am afraid you have a real eye catcher now and the older gals are going to take you for a guy in his 20s... and even older with the Spade. Take the comments in stride and always tell others how you feel being bearded. It should be changing you in many ways and you might as well tell how this transformation is feeling for you.

Your beard is showing much better in the second picture... a lot more skin is covered and your sides are starting to bulk a bit.
I don't think you are ready for a trim on your sides or front, but have a look at the undercarriage... it will help to keep the hair length tapered from front to back and rather short at the back. Remember, no hairs are to be trimmed in the front. You want the hairline below the jaw parallel to the cheek line so don't let anything come off underneath in the front.
The new avatar looks sick.
