Our local Harley Dealership is having an "Epic Beard and Bad Ass Tattoo Event" next week. I have no ink and I ride a Honda, so I'm already at a disadvantage.
Although I have a full beard, it is nowhere near Epic proportions, but it's likely to be a small event so I may join in for the fun.
The categories are Full Beard Natural and Full Beard Styled
This is what I have to work with currently
Please pardon the scowl in the 2nd pic, but the lighting is better. So I've never attempted to style anything and would have no idea where to begin. As you can see, it has a tendency to develop a fork if I do not have it brushed.
So any suggestions for how I could enhance that appearance?

“God adorned man
like the lions, with a beard, and endowed him as an attribute of manhood, with
a hairy chest-a sign of strength and rule. This, then, is the mark of the man,
the beard. By this, he is seen to be a man.” - Clement of Alexandria

I went to the contest for the fun of it, and it was a very casual event. You can see the pics of all contestants from this newspaper section
It was all in fun, but I think there were some beards (especially that of the photographer who was not pictured) that was better than the winner's, but your opinions may vary.

Thanks for the compliments!
When I'm on the bike, I pull the beard together and wrap a rubber (hair) band around it. It doesn't look great, but it keeps it down and somewhat together. I will see some from the sides, but not enough to get in the way.
I pull it (and a few hairs) out when I get off the bike, pocket it, and smooth out the beard.
