Solid trim. You can do no wrong.

My missus is a rock. She is more excited at the prospect of a massive sweeping moustache. She thinks I would look 10 times more "classy" with one.

But as always you guys are right and I stuck with it and my days are filled with lovely comments. I don't hate it anymore, I hate getting older and that was my problem right from the beginning of this journey.

I love to see you (and anyone) after walking roads filled with pebbles converge upon a space where all is well, all is good and where happiness is the most predominant emotion. This is kismet. Revel in it because its precious and special.
Congratulations to your daughter on her achievement, Congratulations to you and your wife for successfully shepherding her journey, Congratulations to you for growing into a new role in your career, and Congratulations to you for finding a new and powerful look via this bearded path that matches and confidently catapults you further. All of it, wonderfully done.
Now, the path ahead will throw more pebbles on the path but having just been-there, done-that you'll recognize it, say 'Hello friend' and navigate it with a new finesse to address what's ahead. Stop along the way to offer a hand to another brother who's flummoxed or doubtful and needs to be seen in full too. You've got the skills and the heart.
I thank-you for these conversations, this shared experience and friendship. Forward, Sy! Scott

But the journey doesn't end here. Now that you've made it to this point, How do you feel about moving over to the Established side of the board? let us know and we'll get your thread moved over to Short Beards where the journey can go on.

I can't imagine all the emotions you're feeling. Changes at work, your face, and your daughter moving on to the next stage in her life. Life sure does come at you fast. Bask in the joy all around you. It's all well deserved and earned. In all seriousness, I say you brag about all of it to your friends and coworkers. Life is to be celebrated. All of this at age 40! You have set the bar quite high.

Now, let's do another thirteen weeks together. Since I'm in my phone I can't read your update today. Do you mention what's next for you? I sure hope it involves a lot more of this fun.
It's too bad I don't have a mannequin head to send you as a gift.
