Had a chance to look back through your thread. Congratulations on 12 weeks and an absolutely magnificent beard - great density/fullness, fantastic colour combination, nice symmetry and strong, classy moustache. I'm sure you'll have fun over the coming weeks whether you simply grow longer or tinker with trimming/styling. You are correct that trimming allows you to customize and shape your beard in many ways. To that end, I have my trimming/grooming routine in my thread (link below - post #20). Feel free to have a look if you are looking for info. I wear a tapered style myself - shorter on the sides with a longer goatee region. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly congratulations on your grandson.
Continued good luck,

What is more intimidating? Cause that's a new vibe for me. : ) Decisions, decisions to be made in the days ahead. Best to ya, bud!

It it will be interesting to see how the Michigan teams fare today in the tourney. Purdue and Butler got it done yesterday. And I'm thrilled about Wisconsin's win.

Pandarocks wrote:I'm Seriously Happy, Gents - 12 weeks and I can see the finish line for that first goal of this first real beard of my lifetime. It's been interesting realizing what grows on this landscape these past few weeks. It'll be even more interesting to begin to understand what can be done with it in the weeks ahead.
Neck hair is interesting as it's still sweeping to the right which makes it appear uneven without grooming - I hear that length will help settle the score along with creative trimming to offer the illusion of balance. Mustache is beginning to move into place with wax and be more manageable throughout the day with constant tweaking.
Here's the serious(ly) happy photo update with no trim goal for first 13 weeks:
Cheers to all! Thanks for sharing your journeys. Scott
