@DublinBeard - It's actually 9 months now from last being clean-shaven. The first post in this thread was at 7.5 months, and the 9 month update is in post #24. It's easy for me to remember, since I started on New Year's Day. I remember last shaving sometime in the afternoon on December 31st because I was going to a New Year's event later that evening. |

Thanks for the comments! I'll post a few updated pictures in two weeks or so.
In the meantime, I've started using got2b spiking glue on the 'stache. I was becoming very annoyed with chomping on hair whenever I tried to eat, or constantly having to brush the hair to the side. While I liked the idea of letting the 'stache grow, I was questioning the practicality. The spiking glue had been recommended to me in chat, and I also recall seeing it mentioned in some posts on this board, so I decided to try it. It has made a significant difference, and I'm much happier now

...or just head over to my Beyond Six Months gallery. I'm glad you folks convinced me to just let the 'stache grow untrimmed. The hair in my mouth was getting rather annoying, but the "got2b
glued" helped remedy that situation. Now I'm enjoying seeing how it's developing.
I got a nice compliment a few days ago... while I was checking out at a grocery store, the cashier said "I wish I had a beard like that". The
woman in line behind me then remarked that her husband used to have a beard just like mine, and would dress up as Santa during the holidays |

Andy, I've posted on threads before that I think that your beards is one of the best, most transforming-in-appearance beards on here, and I stick by that,
but I have to add that I don't think that I noticed in your early growing weeks that you would have such an awesome moustache as well. Now, that looks as
dynamite as the beard as a whole. I've never let my stache grow past the bottom of my upper lip. I've varied from even with the top of my upper lip, to
halfway down the lip, to the bottom of the lip. But I've never thought that I would let it grow longer and start brushing it to the side or maybe even use
some product to help train it there. But looking at your stache, I just might be inspired to let mine grow longer! It looks great.
