Markonius wrote:Tom, it's fantastic! Really! It looks as if it were established beard. What am I talking about? Not as if it were, it is quite established beard. You found the right barber to take care of it. My congratulations!
PMKinFTW wrote:If you are happy with it, then it was a successful trim and since you found a barber that does good work for you, keep going back to him.You are looking sharp - so carry on.
Tienchyu wrote:Bright side, though it may have set you back in length, You look tidy and neat and still remain bad ass bearded mate.. Good job
stevedxb wrote:It feels great after a trim doesn't it! Completely understand where you were coming from with that choice and you did a great job. Looks like you and the beard are all set to ask the big question to your girlfriend.....
Bontekoe1 wrote:Hi Tom, Although I do believe in the 13 weeks rule, there is one rule that rules all rules. You have to be happy with your beard. And you are. It's looking great. Dirk would say hammer 🔨. Groetjes Joris
Beard69 wrote:??? Please help me..where did I see this kind of close trimmed undercut before??? . Not kidding..your sides are a little to long! CLEAN SHAVED, my friend C L E A N SHAVED . No ...looks extra hammer...and this 13 weeks rule is not a rule..I ever suggest here, since I am getting a MOD, that IF the bearder feels better while the progress - he have to do a clean up. Excellent job! Siehst jut aus, mein Freund - echt... die Italiener und Türken verstehen was von Bärten und Frisuren, so ist es nun mal..bin morgen wieder bei Mimmo...nur Kopf, nicht Bart. See you!!! baldbandit wrote:Excellent hair cut and trim! Looks really great! Joris is 100% correct - most important is to be happy with your beard. Well done!
Slybeard wrote:The haircut and beard trim look great. But I agree with Dirk, shave the sides down (scalp sides, not beard), and it will look even better.
Rexbeard wrote:Perfect shape and colour. And I still loving your haircut!!!! Keep growing man!

Danke mein Freund!Beard69 Yeah I know, its again not a clean-shaved undercut. He asked me to do it, but I was not sure about it.... (Hab den Schwanz eingezogen..) In 2 weeks I´m gonna risk it Hope your haircut turned out well? Großes Dankeschön ins RheinlandBeArdVARIAN

MetalMungos wrote:Great update, and generally amazing progress. Moustache is really amazing. As for your thought process, you're right. You are your own worst critic. The friends and people around you stop noticing things after first time. They'll say once bnad compliment once, or maybe twice, and that's it.. People stopped paying attention. And it's amazing to have girlfriend that you have by your side. It would be a way harder if she wasn't by your side. Also, let us know how it went at poker night. MM
Bontekoe1 wrote:Servus Tom, It seems that the mental issue of being bearded ( you might not be really happy with your beard now) is still strong. I think it also shows in how you feel if your friends make a comment like " what's that in your face". When I see my friends we also make comments like that to each other. Like man I can see your scalp, the hair is getting thin isn't it?. I see that more as friends teasing a bit. I don't think you should take that to hard. And if a person says I think you look better with a shorter beard. Just say I don't! Groetjes Joris
JNC wrote:Beardvarian, you have a great looking beard that will only improve with time. It is very easy to get discouraged especially if you are comparing your beard to others. Stay strong! You have an awesome stache by the way, so wear it proudly! I had trouble with mine staying in place all day as well until Dirk (aka beard69) told me about a fantastic holding product called "bayrishe bartwichse". I believe its German, so you should be able to find it fairly easily over there! I ordered my from Amazon. I'm telling you nothing holds like this stuff, so try it out...I dressed my stache in a handlebar fashion before I left this morning (7 hrs. ago). I have been working with customers all day, and it hasn't budged! So Keep Beardin' Strong, Dude!

An untrimmed moustache is not very common here in Germany. So far I havent seen one in puplic. 5 days ago I saw an epic handlebar stache on a older man, but the middle part was trimmed. It also looked great, but i will stick it out. Thank you
