it's like a shield, doesn't mean she is really stuck up

yes but big boobs make a girl not only more approachable but also more approached, meaning she has higher standards and will test your balls when you approach
her to see wether you're a waste of time or a real man (because she is being approached so often that she doesn't want to waste time on wussies)

Yeah, while I don't think my analogy was spot on (men with beards don't necessarily have higher standards - maybe they do??), I think I was merely
trying to portray that with a beard, you look more serious, and more cave-man-like, so women are perhaps more naturally inclined to think you're more
mature/more masculine/straight-up meaner.
You guys get what I'm saying. I could talk circles and circles all day about the psychology behind that kinda' stuff, but hey JC - whatever you prefer, stick with it. I think your beard/goat is great and it's merely up to whichever you feel more comfortable wearing. It seems you like the goat (I'm ignoring your clean-shaven comment for now haha) and if you're more confident, it will definitely show. The last thing you need when flirting with women [which appears is your current goal] is a lack of self-esteem. |

Whether a beard is appreciated or not depends on the girl, really. But in general; chicks seem to dig well-trimmed beards. Grooming is key. Yet, as a general
rule, you can't go wrong with being clean shaved, whereas you can go wrong with a beard.

exactly
being always clean shaven shows that you can take care of yourself* having a well groomed beard shows that you can take very good care of yourself this is important for women as they subconsciously take it as a measure of how well you can take care of them *why is a stubble well liked then? is it really a 100% media implanted preference? |

well stubble is like many other things.you dont necessary have to be a millionaire to great illusion that you are rich and wealthy.all it need is a little
money, new clothes and the trick works.
same is with the stubble.its SHOWS the potential and ability to grow beard when person want it greats illusion that one can grow awsome beard if wanted to.so its all in show.to let others see your potential but at the same time you keep it in some level because it gives the best impression without actually let others to see it full limits.in people mind the final result is always greater than in reality. so i dont think its only a media thing. and it not only stubble beard that goes under this show/illusional side. ofc there are many many other opinion in all this but thts how i understand it. |

The media mindset of stubble is bad/evil. Every commercial or hollywood movie with a bad guy tries to get away with having the evildoer have a five o'clock
shadow.

I think even longer whiskers are also not so uncommon anymore, and therefore more women accept those styles too. There's a guy in a recent ad with a pretty
lengthy, forked goatee and mustache.
Up here in Alaska, I would say that there are quite a number of women who either tolerate or love facial hair on guys and I don't think this constricts to shortly trimmed whiskers only. Since many Alaskan men (including some Alaskan native men) grow facial hair of many varieties and lengths, I think that has influenced womens' acceptance of whiskered fellows. Of course every woman is different, and naturally some don't like facial hair at all. Also some women have specific preferences on how the facial hair should be sported or what looks best on what guy. Happy "Bearding" all!
Beards in olden times, were the emblems of wisdom and piety.
