OK, this is weird, but over the past day or two I've noticed a strong, musty odor on myself. Now, please keep in mind that I shower and shampoo daily, wear a good, strong deodorant, a little cologne, and have good personal hygiene, so this sort of thing is WAY out of the ordinary for me. Last night I was working at my desk at home and I thought the smell was coming from my T-shirt. It was clean, but I'd worn it all day and just thought it needed changing. I went to bed after that, then got up this morning, took my daily shower, washed my hair, my beard, etc. but now here it is noon and I'm already noticing the odor again. This time I don't think it's coming from my clothes... in fact, I think it's coming from my beard(!). I shampoo my beard just like I do my hair (I even put a little conditioner on it), so why would my beard be giving off an unpleasant, musty odor all of a sudden? It's not that long (maybe an inch at most), but I definitely smell it on my comb when I shape my beard with it. I'm hoping the close proximity of my nose to my facial hair explains why I can smell it so strongly (and hopefully why other people can't!), but I'm not sure and don't want to go around asking people if they think I stink or not, haha. That's not a good way to win friends! So can someone help me out with this? I've just never noticed this at all before and am a little perplexed. Thanks!
