As there always seems to be some need for advice in regards to combs and brushes and this is one of the very few areas in which I have some beard related experience, I thought I would do some reviewing of different brushes and combs, what the differences are and how one could use them for bearded maintenance.

I recently ordered a few things from them and to round out the total I also bought a bottle of their newest beard oil - Wanderlust. It has a lighter scent than their Stirner beard oil which gives the impression someone squeezed a fir tree into the bottle, wanderlust has a milder scent. The oil itself is light, I don't bother washing my hands after applying it as it is absorbed quickly. Beard oils aren't intended for styling - beard balms and moustache waxes are the primary tools for this - but beard oils make your beard softer so you don't have to use so much of these products to get the desired result- and this beard oil excels at softening my beard.

No, it does not. quite the opposite in fact, after applying a few drops of it, the beard oil leaves bead hairs softer and more manageable than they would be without it - though as always YMMV
