A few weeks ago, I came across a link to a product called the GoateeSaver, which is an adjustable shaving template that fits over the goatee area of your
face allowing you to protect your goatee while shaving, ensuring a perfectly-shaped goatee after each and every shave. I have always struggled with keeping my
goatee even when I tried maintaining one, and never could, so I always ended up shaving. Not anymore.
The GoateeSaver arrived yesterday. The first thing that popped into my mind was how solid the unit was. Its plastic is extremely durable, and it has three
steel turnbuckles in the middle of the unit which you use to adjust the size of your goatee. For me, I prefer the shape of the goatee where no adjustments are
made to the turnbuckles. It creates a goatee that is perfect in both size and shape. On the back, there is an adjustable rubberized mouthpiece that adjusts in
three different positions depending on how high or low you want the template to sit on your face. You simply bite down on the mouthpiece and the GoateeSaver is
locked in place.
Shaving couldn't be simpler with the GoateeSaver. Electric, blade, it makes no difference. The GoateeSaver is compatible with all razors. When shaving, the
template fits snugly, so you don't have to worry about the razor slipping underneath and shaving off more than intended. Again, you get a perfect goatee
after each and every shave. Gone are the days of waiting three or four weeks without shaving before attempting to carve out a goatee. You can start on your
goatee from a state of clean-shavenness. This is a fantastic product, and you should definitely buy one. I am very grateful to the inventor, Scott
