This is a great board by the way. I have been browsing for a while and decided to post pics. I am going to try and wear my beard for the season. We'll
see! My beard seems to turn a reddish color. Not sure how long its been since shave but I trimmed up the stash. Oh and my girlfriend loves it. So it's
staying.
I'll post some update pics after a few more weeks!

I think your beard is about three weeks. Looks good to me. Why did you trim your stash?
I'm going for a seasonal beard too, it't about your length now. My girlfriend likes it too, for now... I'm gonna try and let it grow for eight weeks - never made it past five. Good luck! |

Off to a good start. Let it grow. We share the same beard coloring my friend. My wife likes mine too but she wishes it was a bit shorter...lol. Good luck.

Welcome to the board Jasonx!
You have a good start to your beard already, and it is great news about the girlfriend (that always helps) . I really like the lighter color of your beard. Do keep us posted...

Welcome to the Beard Board Jasonx
You have an excellent beard growing potential. Its is great to hear the girlfriend likes it too. You have the cheeks and neckline edged perfectly. I do notice a lot of red shaving irritation on the neck however. If you let your neck fill in too the irritation would go away but your work, girlfriend, and the neat and tidy neckline promoters may not approve. How old are you? Keep up posted with your growing progression photos. Join us in chat sometime. FullBeardMA Marc |

Jason,
Your beard looks good already. How far along are you? I see the irritation on your neck too. I concur with Marc on possibly letting your neckline creep down naturally, eventually the redness should disappear. Keep growing, mustache included. In a few short weeks you'll sport a fine beard.
Every man should sport his beard at least once in his lifetime

Good-looking beard, Jason, and it will certainly improve with more growing. Regarding the neck, I myself prefer beards - at least shortish ones - to have a
neckline. However, you seem to have a problem with irritation. What did you last trim or shave your neck with? And how did you manage before you grew the
beard?
Keep growing. Stay bearded! wulff |

Alot more women are digging the scruffy, bearded faces on men these days it seems. Hooray!! It is about time the girls came around!

You're off to an excellent start!
If you're using an electric shaver on your neck, I can advise on electric techniques that irritate the skin less. |

Hey yes I have always had problems with my neck and razors. I use to use and mock 3 and it was bad news. I switched to a bump fighter blade and it helps a lot
but still irritation. Oh I am 22. My neck line hairs grow in the opposite direction so I try to shave with the grain. Any ideas on what I can use to get rid of
the redness. I had given up hope and just dealt with it so far. And again thanks for the reply's very welcoming here!!

Jason. Have you tried using King of Shaves shaving gel? In conjunction with a bump fighter blade or similar? The KoS gel works very well for some guys with neck
shaving problems. I certainly would avoid using the Mach3 or similar multibladed razors. There is also the electric option on which Euromutt can give you
advice.
