Well, I was using the 5% solution 'continuously' for 9 months, and as I reported then, much of the new growth had fallen out, with absolutely no signs of a 'pick-up' to be seen. So, the phrase 'continue(d) use' is a very open-ended statement, as it could easily imply a life-long commitment!

Again, don't get me wrong, I am pro-minox, afterall, despite my setbacks, I am back using it again - I just don't shirk at pointing out the negatives! The general 'informed' consensus would appear to be that many (particularily those in the 16-21 category) who start using minox would have grown a 'proper' beard even without minox, given time, so is it fair to say that minox induced permanent hair growth in this group? Now contrast these young guys with old farts like me, who even after 20-25 years have not grown a proper beard - clearly 'my' group needs something like minox, as there is more than a time-factor involved. And my experience thus far is that while minox clearly does induce hair-growth, for people in my 'group', its effects could well be short-lived! The 'hair life cycle' factor could be valid issue, so this time, I will continue minox past my last cut-off point in order to see if a 'resurgence' in growth takes place. But this again, leads to the question, how long (usage-wise) is long enough...

I was not suggesting that it is a life-long commitment. I was only suggesting that 9 months was not long enough. I noticed that you thought it was necessary to highlight that I used the wrong tense in my reply. Fair enough. By the way, "afterall" should be "after all" and "particularily" should be "particularly."

No, I was implying, based on my experience thus far, that I believe a life-long commitment could be a distinct possibility!

And you are well off the mark about the grammer thing - had I quoted your use of the word "continue" verbatim in the context in which I used it in my post, it is I that would have been grammatically incorrect! Also, note my use of single-quotes, not double, throughout all of my posts - they are never used to quote someone, just to emphasise a word or point. It's sad that you think I'm so petty-minded that I feel the need to go around correcting other peoples spelling (when as you rightly point out, I am not 'qualified' to do so...)

So let's get back to what this thread is about please...
