I noticed Eric Bandholz (Beardbrand founder, Lakefire17 on the board) had a goal when he started his yeard to have his 'stache cover his mouth when he talked (he's long since seemingly trimmed it down a lot and moved on from that goal, but he did reach it), I have the same goal eventually and the comb helps during these early few months. As I'm now in the hip, trendy city, I wax the 'stache out of my mouth if going out with family/friends, shopping in a centre or the like. But, yeah, y'know, the wee comb is the bomb-diggity. I love it.

I almost reflexively pushed order when I saw on his site that he had now introduced the simply Vanilla Beard OIL.! ZAZEN But then noticed the $30 price tag. I will pick it up, just have to wait a bit. I also ordered Honest Amish beard wax. It has a nice hold, and helps keeps form throughout the day . It has a decent scent, but after finding reasons to apply the BB Simply Vanilla, I'm kind of spoiled.

RichardNixon wrote:Simply Vanilla is a wax, not an oil. So you can still rock a Simply Vanilla 'stache with Tea Tree oil in your beard. I don't believe there is any difference between a beard wax and a moustache wax. You could use it in your head hair. I think it's just a difference term to make it sound a bit better or keep the name more succinct.
