Ended up grabbing some scissors instead. Trimmed the sides and neck but left the chin alone. I think it compliments my face shape much better now.
I really like it now and I doubt I'll get rid of it any time soon. If ever.

Nearly got rid of it a few weeks ago. It was growing far too wide for my liking and I was very tempted to just shave it all off.

Excellent beard moolman!
You are a fine example of what patience and good beard genes can produce. Glad you decided to edge the cheeks, trim up the neck, and shape the beard instead of shaving off one of the finest beards on the beard board. And at least you tried the natural look while growing out but it didn't suit you. You sure saw what you had to work with. ah, just re read your post. you trimmed your own beard with scissors like that? you should become a master barber in charge of beard trims! Did you trim yourself or have a barber do it? FullBeardMA Marc

That's one fierce beard. You did a fine job trimming with the scissors. You probably had more control than with an electric trimmer.

I'm glad you resisted the urge to shave, Moolman. You've done a great trimming job, and your new style really suits you. Glad you feel that it's a
keeper. The longer you have it the more reluctant you will be to let it go.
Keep growing. Stay bearded! wulff |

Fantastic beard, m00l3r! Definitely a keeper. You're one of the fortune to have great density. I like how heavy your sideburns are and they provide a
perfect connection to your hair. You did a great job on trimming it. I just recently started using a scissors to trim mine and am liking the results. How
long have you had your beard?

fullbeard, yeah, I trimmed myself. I am really amazed that I didn't stuff it up completely.
derazorguy, I think it's around two months old. |

Wow, awesome full coverage beard. You seem pretty young too, which makes it even more impressive as to how you have already obtained a dense full beard while
still young.

Just wanted to add my compliments too. An excellent beard, you are a very lucky man. It is good that you tried a trim before shaving completely, you now have a
beard you are truely happy with, and it sounds as though it's a keeper for you.

Your beard is really looking good. I will parrot what the others have said... you did a good job trimming and you need to keep it. The full beard really
suits you.

No way! Trimmed with scissors?? You've done an excellent job. I wish I was good at it too. Because if I start trimming with scissors... I'll ruin it
for sure

I agree, the beard is very impressive and the trim was a great move. Impressive for 20, makes you look much older. Certainly above average... I'm 21 and
don't have that kind of coverage.
I personally keep a trimmer with a guard handy and trim WITH the grain of my beard regularly. It helps keep things tidy, which makes the beard look better defined and stronger. There's no risk of over-trimming, because of the guard, so you can use it (or not use it) as oftenas you want. I think you would also find it easier than scissors!! Otherwise, keep at it, it's a great, very powerful look you have going on!
