The first is that drinking beer aids in beard growth. I really don't believe this one, but hey! I don't know a lot of things. The other one I just heard yesterday is that a man's beard grows fastest when he anticipates sex. Again..I know they sound stupid, but it's worth the ask! Thanks a ton. When you are sexually active, or anticipating sex, your body produces more testosterone, which is the male sex hormone, and is one of the factors influencing body \ facial hair growth... But as Wulf said, it only enhances what you already got; it doesn't get you new hairs (unfortunately... if it would grow new hair, none of us would ever have to complaint about our beards not growing the way we would want to he he he)

And as a man study has shown that drinking and especially drinking heavily lowers your testosterone level to 60% when you're drinking and the day after. So sadly I don't think this rumor is true.
