Looks like a pretty phenominal beard you got there Nick, many congrats. It seems to be maturing in double quick time too. Your side burns and chin strap areas
are much thicker now. Your current style looks pretty good to me, but I have no doubt you will be experimenting with others in the comming months. Have fun
with it dude.

Glad to see it; the full set will be Classic.
If you want any suggestions: after a few weeks, it might be good to carve out the cheek a little to make a smooth line, if you'd like a more "finished" look. You'll be turning heads soon, young man. :-)

Personally I reckon you should just keep the full beard with minimal trimming for the time being. You have a fantastic beard for your age, it looks good on you
and will improve still further in the comming weeks. Why start chopping it about? A good, strong full beard on a guy your age is something to be very proud of.
Wear it with pride.

I"ll second that. It'll be best to let everything fill in to show your full coverage before you decide whether any shaping is even
appropriate. Keep us posted!

Agreed. And when you do decide to shape, just take a little bit at a time and generally try to "smooth" things out.

Very nice beard in the making my friend!
Basically you have 3 choices now... I)Keep growing the full beard, not trimming any of the hairs. II)Carve the cheeks so they will be "in line" with the chin growth, making your beard a chinstrap. III)Carve the sides and the chin to form a goatee + sideburns style. I think that No. III will suit you best at this point, but the choice is yours... |
