I'm new here, so first of all hello I only recently found this discussion board and have been having great fun snooping around all the great topics! I decided to open my own topic, since i'm in need of some expert advice. Here's a picture of my now. This is about 5 days growing from a 2 day stubble i've had for a while now. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/502/beardd.jpg/ My question is. Will ^^this^ ^ ever be this: http://newsflash.bigshotmag.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/steve-angello-2010.jpg I'm 24 years old and feel like my hair too thin/light to even achieve such a beard. Will it darken if i keep growing? Let me know what you think!

Beard Friendly Posts: 95 Jul 4 12 4:39 AM More My Recent Posts	Hi JJ, Based on your first picture, it's hard to see your mustache and front area, but your cheeks and neck have a lot of potential. There are guys on this board who have less stubble than you in those areas, but who - after several months and lots of patience - now have great big beards. As for comparing yourself to another man, while it's perfectly OK to grow towards a certain goal (I myself am going for a Leonidas beard), your beard will be unique and is unlikely to look exactly like anyone else's.

They grow no differently than my cheeks and neck Yes you're absolutely right. It's not that i'm really after that exact beard, but it's the style that i strive for.

Give yourself about 3 months and I don't see why you can't have something like that. Who knows, after 3 months yours might be better... Keep us updated.

Beard Master Posts: 580 Jul 4 12 12:18 PM More My Recent Posts	Looks like good potential, but terrible photo so difficult to tell. As per standard advice at this stage, grow for 12 to 16 weeks and show your progress with better pics for true assessment. Good luck, stick with it.
