I normally can't stand a stand alone mustache but for some reason that pic looks really cool. You should try it. That picture reminded me of an old Doobie Brothers Album cover for some reason. Love the Doobie Brothers BTW

Phil,
Please settle on something in the facial hair department. I've had a mustache since I was 25. I needed something then because people thought I was still in my late teens. There's nothing wrong with any type of facial hair. Grow out what you can, keep what is most dense and enjoy it. If you are wrestling with different styles, then I think subconciously you are considering growing something. With that said, decide on what you want and just grow it out. Just take that...

It definately suits your face. I think it definately ages you alot which might be a good thing I guess. I keep thinking of 1970's police officer... (even though I wasn't around in the 70's) Go for it. s long as you're not getting mistaken for your fiance's dad.

Number one rule is wear what YOU like. If you think it looks good, wear it. But since you asked for opinions, I think the goat is a better look for you. I think the goat makes you chin look broader which fits you face shape better. To me, the solo mustache emphasizes the middle of your face and makes your chin look very narrow. But that's my opinion and it's your opinion that counts.

I was joking around with my fiance the other day about growing a solo mustache, but the more I though about it, the more I liked it, lol
Do you guys think I would look ok with just a mustache?

Ofcourse it wouldn't be anywhere this thick, I was just trying to get an idea of what i might look like, lol
