The Wolfman movie (beards)

Well, for those of you who don't know, they are remaking The Wolfman, and I noticed two awesome beards in the movie being sported by Hugo Weaving (Agent Smith in The Matrix, V in V for Vendetta) and Anthony Hopkins (Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs).

Well, I'm not a fan of Jim Carrey. The only movie I ever liked him in was The Mask, and that was when I was 10 and that was mainly because Cameron Diaz was SMOKING back then. Like, I'm talking 10/10 hot. Jim Carrey always struck me as a misguided fool, with a lot of talent being wasted on physical comedy that he could use to spice up his intellectual comedy or acting. I hate his romantic comedies. But enough about my hatred for him...

One of my favourite movies of all time is John Carpenters The Thing. What is really cool for me at any rate is the amazing array of beards in the movie, and Kurt Russells is pretty awesome. For those of you into Metal or rock in geneal, you may've heard of a little band called Mastodon. I'd have to say that the lead singer, Brent Hinds, has possibly one of the most ridiculously awesome styles I've ever seen.

As a side note, I've been a member of the board for years but had been on a bit of hiatus from beard growing for the past few. Considering this is my last year in college, it's time for my beard's return. I will post an official thread next...

I know Keanu Reeves beard is'nt one of the best but his is a good example of how an imperfect beard coverage can look great with a little length. so there is hope for low density guys like me and others.I hope this will help others to embrace what they got and grow their beards out long..cheers

Ryan Gosling is the original reason that I wanted to grow a beard.
When I saw the Notebook a few years back (I watched with my girlfriend ofcourse, lol) i was like "wow, that guy has a cool beard"
Anyway, judging by his beard in that movie it seemed as if his circle beard area was his strong point, but it seems that has not always been the case.

It's difficult to picture Richie Havens without a beard. He has been bearded since his 20s...or who knows...maybe even before.

In August, 1969, Havens performed at the Woodstock Music Festival sporting his jet black beard. He was 28 1/2, and at the time, his whiskers still had a little bit of maturing to do. The maturation process would continue. Presently, he has a long and very full beard. He is an inspiration!
