I'm 18 and decided to participate in No Shave November for the first time this year, but only want to stick with it all month if I'm likely to be able to grow something half-decent (in other words, something other than disgusting, patchy tufts of fur on my face; otherwise it's not worth all the itchiness). Hello guys, it's Beardedteen here.

I've decided that due to attacks on my personal appearence, this board is no longer a positive place for me. I am therefore taking a hiatus from this board. I will be on for the rest of today until I play a concert at 5. Thank you for all of your support from the members that offered it. And yes, I will stay bearded during my absence.

I'm 16 and I've never shaved before. All I have is a little bit of hair on my upper lip. What the %#!% right? I want a mustache already =[ Is the myth true about shaving this bit of hair and more growing back faster?

Hey guys i've hit 14 weeks of having some kind of facial hair and i'm really enjoying it. I did have a chinstrap but got rid of it due to irritation and i think some ingrown hairs that really hurt. However, I still have facial hair. I shaved down to sideburns (trimmed) with a goatee/stache combo. I really like the look of it and think it turned out really well.

Just need some help on a beard and I found these forums...looks like a decent community.
Well here is what my beard is like after 1 and a half weeks of not shaving...

What I want to know...Does it look silly, I want to see how I look with a full beard...and do you think it will get there?
Its kind of a thing I have always wanted but never started and now I have...my parents say I look silly but I am not to fussed just need some views

Hello, im getting a bit frustrated as a lot of my mates can get some kind of noticable facial hair whereas all i get is peach fuzz and some thickish hairs on my upper lip and chin, not very noticable though i'm blonde however have darkish hair under my arms, legs and down there. want to know how long it takes for the peach fuzz to thicken up into noticable stubbly hair. Will be very greatful for some advice on this. thanks.

Trying to participate in No Shave November

Hey guys,

I've heard of No Shave November for the first time. When did it come up and what is it for if I may ask?
Anyway, I thought I'd use the occasion to try and let it grow for four weeks instead of the usual two.
I can't promise that I'll really make it through the whole month, but I hope so.
I usually end up trimming back to the lowest setting because I feel like my beard is looking more sparse after two weeks and also the hairs on my chin grow...

I can't believe my goatee's gone, I shaved it off the other day but have been reluctant to post (like if I didn't tell you guys it didn't really happen?). I'd just like to say I didn't decide to shave it off I had a major trimming accident, I wont go into too much detail but basically I managed to shave a patch out of one side of my goatee forcing me to shave the whole thing off.

I will be growing it back but probably not until the christmas holiday.
